The
Container Royalty Benefit for the 2008-2009 Contract
Year was $12,371.36 for those who qualified as of
September 30, 2008. If you were hired October 3, 1996 or
later, your maximum Container Royalty Benefit was $7,500.
Container Royalty checks are mailed out
on December 1st of each year, or if December 1st falls on a weekend or holiday,
checks will be mailed earlier to qualifying participants.
If you choose
to use mail service, you must wait at least seven (7) business days if for some
reason your check is lost in the mail before calling for a replacement check.
By selecting the direct deposit method of
payment, your benefit will be in your account on December 1st. Go to HRSA-ILA
